In May 2026, Providence Swedish Cancer Institute celebrated the way Dr. Ward lived with the unveiling of the Jeffery C. Ward, M.D., Infusion Center at Swedish Edmonds. The project, which doubles the number of available infusion chairs from 19 to 38, demonstrates the immense impact donors can have on patients and their families.

Providence Swedish launched its Transgender and Gender-Diverse Hair Treatment Program in 2024 thanks to generous philanthropic support. Today, the program is changing lives. 

With a passion for women’s heart health, Dr. Rashedi and Providence Swedish Heart & Vascular Institute (PSHVI) are dedicated to increasing women’s awareness of heart disease — the leading cause of death for women in the United States.

Peter Tomozawa, chief executive officer of Seattle's World Cup organizing committee and former president of business operations for Sounders FC, recently sought care at Providence Swedish after a serious health challenge.
