Programs You Can Support

Swedish is a nonprofit medical center. Contributions are instrumental in ensuring our ability to deliver world-class service and provide state-of-the-art facilities and technology to our patients.

Listed below are some of the funds that you can support. Please call the Foundation at 206-386-2738 or email foundation@swedish.org if you have any questions.

Where the Need is Greatest

Your gift to the area of greatest need provides Swedish the flexibility to devote resources to essential, high-priority needs by funding the latest medical technology, patient-care practices, and research to improve patient health.

Swedish Cancer Institute

Donations to our cancer institute to help to establish vital services and patient-centered programs that change lives. From cutting-edge cancer research to comprehensive cancer care, we’re changing the way we care for cancer patients.

Swedish Neuroscience Institute

Donations to our world-class neurosciences program will ensure patients have access to the most advanced neurological and neurosurgical treatment options to improve survival rates and provide a higher quality of life.

Women's Health and Pediatrics

Nearly 11,000 babies are born at Swedish annually – more than any other health system in Western Washington. Families come to Swedish for our comprehensive care including prenatal, delivery, neonatal intensive care, and pediatric services.

Swedish Heart & Vascular Institute

Supporting the Swedish Heart & Vascular Institute provides patients with advanced cardiovascular care and education resources including prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation for cardiac and vascular conditions.

Community Health

Core to our mission as a nonprofit health care provider is to care for the medically underserved members of our community. In 2014, Swedish devoted more than $133 million to charity care and other community benefits.
