How are gifts acknowledged?

Everyone who gives $250 or more is listed in the Swedish Annual Report.

Donors also receive HealthWatch and FORUM, two of Swedish’s award-winning publications, which offer the latest health news and updates on your gifts at work.

Individuals who give $1,500 or more each year are invited to join the Summit Club. Members receive special benefits and are invited to events throughout the year, including distinctive recognition events.

Donors who make a gift of $5,000 or more annually are listed on the Wall of Honor, to recognize their generous support.

Individuals who give $10,000 or more each year are invited to join the Founders Circle.

Donors who make a gift of $20,000 or more - or who give at least that amount cumulatively over time - are welcomed into the Swedish Society and listed on the Wall of Honor. Once established, donors' names are never removed, in honor of their generous support.

Names of those honored by memorial or tribute gifts are placed in a special section of the Wall of Honor, once the total given in that name accumulates to at least $5,000.

Is the Foundation a charitable organization for tax purposes?

For tax purposes this means your gifts are tax-deductible, as allowed by current laws. How does Swedish use charitable gifts?

The leadership of Swedish makes sure each donated dollar is used wisely. Charitable giving can support the many high-quality or groundbreaking medical services at Swedish, as well as community education and research. Donations to Charity Care help ensure no one is ever turned away due to lack of financial resources. You may also specifically designate how your gift is to be used.
